the teryx is mine, the rzr is a friends, no lift but he does have 26" tires.
i have done a lot of posting on some of the other forums on what i have done to my teryx, i have not talked about it here only because posting pics does not seem to be as easy, and pictures are needed for this.
my teryx has a 840cc big bore kit from Four Stroke Tech along with stage III cams and valve springs, a velocity VDI, nine 1" holes drilled in the air box lid, carbs have been rejetted by drilling out some kiehen jets to 3/32" (they only make them up to 200's), the air fuel screw caps have been removed and turned out two full turns(one is stock), and i fabricated a full exhaust system using mandrel bent tubing, the first 12" of the headers are 1.5" then they are stepped up to 1.625", the front i was able to shorten to 40.5" overall and the rear was made equal length, i fabbed a merge collector from 1.75"-2.25" tubing and used a 2.25" dia flowmaster hushpower II shorty for a muffler, 1.25" unequal length headers are stock. the full exhaust built like this is nessesary for awesome top end power. in that video the camera is filming from 500' away, as i pass the camera you can here me bounce off the rev limiter, the gps read 58.3mph. when it hit the rev limiter it was still pulling real hard, i will reprogram the limiter after i talk to Micky at FST about what is safe before the motor comes apart. the clutch is stock for now but it will be sent in next week for mods and machine work, it will accelerate much harder when we can get the clutch engagement rpm's up a bit, and should be looking at top speed of around 67-68mph easily. i have lots of pics of the build posted on some of the other sites, (sorry Nathan) i would have done it here but it is a bit more difficult for me, i'm not that great on a computer.

Did you post this over on glamisdunes? Looks like a pretty sweet engine set-up. Can you send me over some more info? cody@pgimedia.com

We just did some testing with a Dynatek programable CDI box and was impressed with how it opened up the engine. Still didn't get the low-end we were hoping for (wheelies. ) but we did get an impressive mid band power that pulled very hard in the sand.

Thanks!

yes, all the info and pics are over there under (teryx 840 big bore w/stage II cams installed). the clutch is getting done next week, there will be some huge acceleration and top speed improvements, also uping the rev limmiter, will be looking at a 80+ mph teryx by next weekend. you can pm from over ther if you have any questions Cody.
will you guys be up here in oregon for dunefest or sandfest again this year?

3/32"???? That's pretty huge... I have a tough time picturing a jet drilled out to .0935 inches....

there are a lot of guys with 840cc bbk's that have drilled their jets to 1/8", mine are at 3/32" right now but it still could use more fuel, so i am drilling them to 7/64" this week while my clutch is getting done by vforcejohn. if your having a tough time picturing that just pick up a bit that size it may help. but seriously this motor makes so much power you cannot believe it is a sxs. i just got back from the dunes for 4 days and it rips in the sand. it leaves rhinos in the dust and outruns and gos up stuff rzr's can't come close too. i never had fun in the sand with my rhino, but this is a whole different game!
